Drone Services

Mackenzie & Ebert have always embraced modern technology in order to aid design and presentation techniques.

Moving into drone technology was a natural progression for us to take and Chris Huggett qualified as a drone pilot in 2015 with a BNUCs attained from EuroUSCâ„¢.

Mastering the art of using a drone creatively takes practice and an artistic vison plus it certainly helps to understand your subject matter. The results have been very useful in conveying our proposals to clients.

Mackenzie & Ebert are fully insured to fly at altitudes of up to 400ft (120m) and horizontal distances of 500m and hold a Permission for Commercial Operation granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Many people do not realise that this permission has to be in place for any photographic or video material to be used commercially.

As a result, we are able to offer a number of cutting edge services to our clients.

Hole By Hole Video Fly Throughs

These high quality videos provide fascinating overviews of holes from an elevated perspective, showcasing them in their true surroundings. These can be used in a number of ways. For example for golf club websites or presentations. We can provide 4k quality videos.

Golf Course Aerial Photography

High resolution aerial photography, both oblique and vertical, can provide superb marketing material for books, brochures, websites & social media.

Drone Mapping

A major breakthrough is the ability to map courses using aerial photography combined with ground control points. This provides a very high level of detail as low as 5cm and creates a high quality aerial overview at the same time.
