Chris Huggett

My career within the golf course design industry began in 2001 when I joined Donald Steel & Company and became responsible for the graphic design department of the company, moving on to work with Martin & Tom as they formed Mackenzie & Ebert in 2006.

I studied Engineering Design at Chichester College of Technology.

I hold a varied role within Mackenzie & Ebert combining technical and creative design expertise covering areas such as 2D & 3D visualisation, analysis, drafting and documentation presentation along with collaboration with clients & contractors around the world.

Over the years I have gained a mastery of a large number of graphics software packages such as Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCad, Adobe Suite and specialised GIS software.

I qualified as a drone pilot in 2015 and have been lucky enough to spend many hours of flight time on the top courses in the world, viewing them from a truly unique perspective. Producing photography and video for design, visualisation, promotional and marketing uses.

Mackenzie & Ebert hold a permission from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) known as a ‘Permission for Commercial Operation (PFCO) a requirement to operate a drone commercially.
